Footsteps in the sand....Well it was an eventful week and half in west Cork.....toilet training, no dummies, nightmares, tears, tantrums but lots of lovely moments like this aswell. I suppose parenting is all about taking the rough with the smooth!
Just posting the last of the holiday snaps in west Cork. It’s such a fab place to visit. Link in Bio for some tips on the Beara Peninsula of a post I did last year. This year we only managed the village of allihies, playground, shop, beach, repeat but sure that’s lovely too. Maybe sometimes I try and do too much and it’s nice to do the same things over and over again!
Whose going to brave the rain?!
is on all day in Midleton some family fun by the square
have a lovely family friendly gardening and pizza event on tomorrow aswell. Check out other events on the website www.feastcork.ie

Thank God the tears and koala like clinging in the morning has ceased and they are generally running in the door (albeit a bit late sometimes! Must work harder at getting out the door on time!) Hope everyone is easing into their new routines well. I’ve been a bit slack at updating the grid and the website but if you check my instastories I generally post there when I know somethings are on. Sometimes life takes
We had great fun
this week besides loosing my 2.5 year old for a few minutes . Not something I want to relive again! It’s 9.50 per child and per adult, it’s full of playgrounds, play areas inside and out. Animal Feeding time was a favourite and the barrel train through the woods was a great addition. They also have a new chocolate and ice cream factory which went down a treat. I live close to leahys farm so have been a few times. I must try a few of the others now, I have the ones I know
